LA DFNSA: Art Fundraiser

LA DFNSA: Latine Artists Defending Families, Neighbors, & Safe Asylum

An Online Art Fundraiser Supporting The Midwest Immigration Bond Fund
100% of sales will go to MIBF!

Continuing Chicago’s deep history of community and civic care, La DFNSA brings Latine artists and friends together to turn grief into action and fear into connection.

Through prints, drawings, and photographs reflecting these artists’ inspirations and concerns, this fundraiser is not just a response to harm, but an affirmation of everything that sustains migrant and Latine communities: love, creativity, courage, and collective care.

All proceeds from LA DFNSA will directly support the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (MIBF). MIBF is a nonprofit organization paying immigration bonds that release people from detention and reunite them with their families, neighbors, and communities. Learn more about MIBF on there website: https://www.mibfc.org/

Caring for our neighbors is a radical, creative act. LA DFNSA exists to practice that care!

LA DFNSA supports the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund

The Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (MIBF) is a revolving-bond fund that is paying immigration bonds for individuals detained by ICE, allowing people to return home while their cases move through the legal system.

Your support goes to ensure that people are released as soon as they are legally able—without unnecessary delay due to financial barriers.

100% of funds will go to the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund.

Graphic design contribution by Oscar Solis, Nico Ciani, Layne Thue-Bludworth, D. Josh Cook.

LA DFNSA is organized by Elsa Muñoz, Diotzinantzin (Norma) Ríos-Sierra, and John H. Guevara (Chuquimarca).
